Forbici

Pioneering a new wave of pizza

Forbici

Putting UK pizza on the map

Individual Restaurants came to us with a vision of launching the best pizzeria outside of Naples. The product was strong, but the brand needed something different to stand out. Our challenge was to position Forbici not as another Neapolitan copycat, but as a category disruptor.

Turning process into positioning

Time spent with the head baker in Manchester revealed a hyper-precise fermentation process which goes into the preparation of their three generation Biga dough and this inspired a big idea: position Forbici as leaders of a new movement - precision pizza.

Taking inspiration from categories like craft coffee and beer, we set out to tell a story of precision and process, ensuring that every touchpoint was disruptive and designed to stand out, be remembered and fuel obsession. From identity and packaging to a bespoke website designed to drive results, we built Forbici from the ground up.
